"I comment popular culture and it's worship of idols by making "medals of general valour". With a little help from colorful ribbons and sparkling trinkets I combine idol pictures with the visual language and symbols of power. My angle is slightly anti-war but in a playful way. By wearing one of my medals you're also saying: "I sincerely respect this person and that tells something about me". Everyone can certainly find a medal that speaks to them, calling them to fill it with their own values, memories and admiration, giving them a chance to rise above everyday life looking pretty!"
